PSA: T:SCC Fandom and Crack Van

Now that there is an overview for the T:SCC fandom, more people should sign up to rec fic.

I'm just saying... it doesn't look like anyone else is signed up and that is a crying shame.

ETA: If you are interested in reccing for small fandoms, you have to sign up here.

If you think that there is enough interest to support a full time addition to the crack_van, someone needs to organize at least 8 volunteers. Then you sign up here.

Personally, I'd love to see it go full time. I think there is more than enough creativity in this fandom to support it. That said, I'm willing to volunteer to drive another month, but I can't take on the responsibility of getting us on the fulltime rotation.

Um, how does one do that for a smaller fandom like T:SCC? It looks like the sign up sheets are just for the bigger fandoms. Are T:SCC recs only allowed in December for small fandoms month? Inquiring minds want to know ;)

Actually this is such a small fandom, but damn there is some good fic in it. Nearly everything produced in the fanom is a gem and that's pretty rare (at least in my fandom experience it's rare. I usually have to wade through miles of crap to find something moderately readable, but not so with this fandom. personally, I give naked Derek most of the credit.) So we should all be very proud of ourselves. *grin*

I agree. I think the Recathon proves that there is a lot of untapped potential out there. I've found a bunch of things I missed the first time around!

And naked Derek deserves a lot of credit. *grins* And some other things, which are too naughty to mention. ;)

I don't think there's any rush to get going in January. I just took a gander through the small fandom sign ups and was so sad to see that there was no more T:SCC in the requests.
