The first time Rogue had touched him left him with an aching head for days. Bobby considered that a small price to pay and he had grinned at her for days in a way that made her blush.
Months later, the rush of the newness had worn off and Rogue began to resist touching him. "I don't see what the big deal is, Bobby. I'm tired of you always ending up with a migraine every time we kiss."
"I don't mind, Rogue," he protested.
"Why not?" she demanded in return.
"When I touch you," Bobby admitted, "you make me warm."

Now, every time Bobby ate a marshmallow, he thought of that night and the sugar melted into ash on his tongue.
