The September Gauntlet is Thrown...

Last year, I attempted to participate in Nanowrimo for the first time. It was a miserable failure, for various reasons.

But I won't fail this year. I'm prepared! I'm set! Any I've got a writing buddy who wants to go through a practice round in September. It seemed like a good idea, and I thought I would share it.

So here it is! The Gauntlet!

Challenge: Write 10,000 words (approximately 30 pages Times New Roman) on any one story in the month of September.

I figured the more the merrier, so I am throwing this open to anyone who wants to play. You pick the story, I don't care if its original fiction or fanfiction. But the challenge is 10,000 words, one story, one month.

So, does anyone want to play? *grins*

If you do, drop a note here in the comments. I'll post weekly update posts, and once it's over, I'll put together a Master List and pimp it out a bit.

*nod* Yeah - a professional-looking community as opposed to something just at someone's journal... It'd be work, though, you'd have to drop by a few spots to advertise it properly. But once it gets going, word gets out. *shrug* If you want to start something like that, it would be pretty cool.
