It wasn't easy to be a father. Matt knew that sounded like a cliché, but it was true. Once you threw in added complications - powers, maniacs, raising a child with another man when you weren't in a gay relationship, balancing his work on the police force with Mohinder's decision to spy on The Company - it just got harder.
Molly was a trooper, though. As far as Matt was concerned, he couldn't love her more if she had actually been born his daughter. As strange as it was, he found that he liked the little details the best.
Molly liked her PBJ cut diagonally, but not her tuna fish.
She loved The Power Puff girls and thought Bubbles was the best one.
She liked pepperoni pizza, but picked off the pepperonis.
She slept on her left side, but when she had nightmares, she rolled onto her back.
When the day came that he realized that she knew equal numbers of little details about him, he had to blink back tears.
She knew that he liked baseball more than football.
She knew that his red shirt was his favorite one, but that he wouldn't wear it to work.
She knew that he always drank his coffee from the Tweety Bird mug she gave him.
She knew that he would keep his promise to protect her.
It wasn't easy to be a father, Matt thought, but it was worth it.

LOL. I'm kind of amazed that I attempted it. I like Heroes, but I am not very active in the fandom. I wanted to try something different today...
I'm glad you thought it worked! *glee*
Yay Matt!
slice of life into both his and Molly's character.
Thanks again and take care, Karrenia
