FIC RECS POST (08/27/09)
I have been under the weather lately, so I haven't spent as much time as normal scouting for fics. I do have some, though, that I will certainly share, along with a few odds and ends.

iambickilometer wrote Lost Things, And People Too. X-Factor. Teen. They're not special, but they've all lost something defining, and that's what brings them together.
Not all mutants were X-men or superheroes. What happened to those who lived past the events of House of M? This is a great look at the obvious side effects of Big Marvel Events in the not so obvious lives of those affected.
handyhunter wrote Prove It All Night. Uncanny. PG-13. Scott's other rule of three.
Logan/Scott. PWP, hotness.
old_blueeyes wrote Power Play. MA: Avengers. G.
I suppose technically this fic shouldn't be here, but even though it allegedly takes place in the Avengers continuity, it features some of our favorite mutants. Implied Storm/Thor. This is a short, but cute and potent little ficlet.
xlineartx wrote To the Ends of the Earth. X-Factor. R. Rictor/Shatterstar. Some of the things that happened in Mexico.
This is a fantastic look at one possible relationship for these two characters. It shows them both complete with their flaws, but stronger and better with each other. Also, a fanstastic description of Rictor.
