First, my remixer liked her fic. *cheers madly* I am so relieved that she liked it. Ya'll know how worried I was about it. *phew*

Second, I was insanely lucky! I got not one, but TWO incredible fics in return! I'm not sure what happened, and I suppose I don't really care, because I"m so busy squeeing in delight that I think the space station heard me.

By Any Other Name (The Fool's Paradise Remix)

This is a stunning look at Raven/Mystique after the third movie. It explores her life, what it has become, and eventually what she wants to make it, once she can no longer be Mystique. It is simply fantastic and it shows us a woman who is as hard as she has always had to be, and as strong as she ever was, making the really tough decisions.

I loved this and am simply blown away by it.

Goldfish Bowl (the Glass Houses Remix)

This fic made me so happy! It is a beautiful and painful look at Bobby Drake as he tries desperately to pretend that his world is normal, when it's not. Set between the first and second movies, it made my heart ache for him, knowing what was coming. It also showed us how Bobby and Rogue got together, and all the problems inherent in their relationship and how maybe they went in looking for the wrong things, but maybe, that's okay and it can still be the right thing to do.

I loved this.

I have a suspicion about one of the fics authors. I will spend the next week reading everything this author has done to see if I still think so. If I'm right, I'll be doing a jig of glee. *lol*
