In an attempt to get more involved with fandom again this year, I'm contemplating doing the Candy Hearts prompt fest again.

I did this two years ago, to great success. That year, if someone asked for a prompt, I provided them with a candy heart slogan and the deadline was Valentine's Day. The deadline will be Valentine's Day again, but I wanted to guage interest.

So, would you be interested? If so, would you like to be given a prompt, or have the opportunity to claim one from a list?

ETA 1: Yes, this is open to any fandom at all, including RPF/RPS, crossovers and original fic. While I'm thinking about it, any rating is fine, as well. Open interpretation of prompts is always encouraged.

Hey everyone! Don't panic. The "due date" isn't until February 14th, but I figured I'd put up a post where people can drop their links, if you've posted your story already. You still have ten days if you haven't posted (or started!) yet.

But for those of you who have, or who have asked me if you can post early... have at it!

I'll bump this list until the 14th, when I will post a final master list for everyone's perusal.

I was just musing that the world always needs more love. So, I thought I'd offer to prompt anyone who wants with a Candy Heart. And then you can write a fic using the prompt - any fandom, any characters, any rating.

Anyone who wants to play, drop a note in the comment. I'll put together a master list when it's over.
