Sorry for the lateness today! I was out partying until lat hours last night, and well… you know how that goes.

But enough of that! Today, it is my great pleasure to present the Master List of Iron Man!

A few notes:

1. Some of the links lead to off LJ sites.
2. Each reader is responsible for double checking warnings on the story itself. It is not my job, nor the job of anyone else, to make sure you’re aware of the contents of the story.
3. I encourage you all to leave feedback for the authors! Feed the authors and they will continue to feed us.
4. This would not have happened if it were not for the generous help of many, many people. In particular, I would like to thank [livejournal.com profile] hockeyirisfor making the lovely banners and [livejournal.com profile] st_aurafinafor coding the recs list. You are both wonderfully generous and talented people. :)
5. Any fics that received more than one recommendation have been bolded.
6. Lastly, feel free to squee in the comments if you’re so inclined.

And now for the recs!

Tony/Pepper:

[livejournal.com profile] abjv wrote "Days Like These" (Rated PG-13, Tony/Pepper)

[livejournal.com profile] atrata wrote "People Who Know My Sins" (Rated PG-13, Tony/Pepper) Absolutely spot on Tony and Pepper

[livejournal.com profile] cruelest_month wrote How Tony Possibly Met Pepper (Rated PG, Gen). This fic is seriously made of win, because it features Pepper, who is the definition of Made of Win. Tony needs an assistant who can do more than keep up with Stark Industries. He needs someone who can keep up with him. Also, Tony hates interviews.

[livejournal.com profile] rhienelleth wrote "Beneath the Surface" (Rated PG-13, Tony/Pepper) [livejournal.com profile] rhienelleth just has this beautiful writing style that draws you in and keeps you engaged. And her handle on both Tony and Pepper (especially Pepper) is pitch perfect as Pepper takes a moment for herself.

[livejournal.com profile] riko wrote "Off the Record (Off the Map)" (Rated G, Tony/Pepper) Pepper has already walked many miles in Tony Stark's shoes.

[livejournal.com profile] serenccd wrote "Four Times Pepper Considered Quitting and the One Time She Did" (Rated PG, Tony, Pepper)

[livejournal.com profile] seriousfic wrote "The Award for Outstanding Underachievement in a Superhero Goes To" (Rated PG, Tony/Pepper) very funny

[livejournal.com profile] thelma_lou wrote "Reconciliation" (Rated R, Tony Stark/Pepper Potts) Lovely, realistic, understated look at Tony/Pepper in the long term. Also, I may have a thing for fic where character makes mental lists, and this one uses it well.

Various Pairings:

[livejournal.com profile] _afterism wrote "Better Half" (Rated NC-17, Tony/Tony) Written for a Porn Battle, and very NC-17.

[livejournal.com profile] aliana_iskassa wrote "I Can't Be Accused of Not Being There for You" (Rated PG) Tony has a goddaughter. She is not a Mary Sue, she doesn't turn him into a lovey-dovey man, nothing sketchy happens. It's just Tony being Tony, plus one more person in his very tiny world of people he gets along with.

[livejournal.com profile] bachae23 wrote "Session" (Rated T, Iron Man)

[livejournal.com profile] elspethdixon and [livejournal.com profile] seanchai wrote "Resurrection, Reconstruction, and Redemption" (Rated PG-13, Steve Rogers/Tony Stark) I had a hard time deciding on just one of these lovely ladies' stories to rec. This one is novel-length Civil War fix-it fic. It's worth the long haul. They write plot like no one's business, and their characterizations are wonderful, and I really, really appreciate that they write super-hot, super-sexy stuff without getting any higher than a PG-13 rating.

[livejournal.com profile] gabby_silang wrote "Dust is Gonna Settle" (Rated R, Howard Stark/Maria Stark) The story of how Tony's parents met.

[livejournal.com profile] hackthis wrote Being of Sound Mind & No Body. (Rated PG-13, Tony/Jarvis). Because, Jarvis is more than a machine. He's Tony's friend, and as odd as that is, it's also true. How far will Tony go to help Jarvis understand what it's like to be human? With all the associated perks, included, even.

[livejournal.com profile] likeadeuce wrote Daedalus (Rated PG, Gen). Tony Stark and Steven Rogers become friends.

[livejournal.com profile] liviapenn wrote "Paul said to Peter, You Got to Rock Yourself a Little Harder" (Rated PG-13, Tony Stark/Jim Rhodes) Rhodey after Tony has been found, wry and tense and frustrated.

[livejournal.com profile] lovethesnark wrote Dust and Dirt and Bones (Rated R, Gen) This is an amazing fic that utilizes Happy Hogan. It also explores Tony's reaction to Obidiah's betrayal and compares Tony's relationship to Obidiah with Tony's relationship to his own father. Beautifully done.

[livejournal.com profile] marinarusalka wrote "Chloe Liked Olivia" (Rated PG) Pepper and Christine kick ass.

[livejournal.com profile] marinarusalka wrote "Engine of Survival" (Rated PG, Tony Stark, Yinsen) Yinsen's story, beautifully told, a perfect companion to the movie.

[livejournal.com profile] mayatawi wrote "The Value of Secrets" (Rated NC-17, Tony/Jarvis) Possibly the funniest and weirdest IM fic yet.

[livejournal.com profile] nicpick wrote "48 Hours" (Rated PG-13, Tony Stark)

[livejournal.com profile] quigonejinn wrote "A Man of the World" (Rated R, Tony/Obadiah) Really disturbing AU where Tony is raised by Obadiah Stane.

[livejournal.com profile] quigonejinn wrote "Your Fixed Point" (Rated R, Girl!Tony) "Think of it this way: identity is not a fixed point. Change eye color or cut off a finger, and only the strictest interpreter would say that a different identity, a different person, results. How much can you change about Tony Stark and still have Tony Stark?"

[livejournal.com profile] samdomme wrote "The Kids Aren't All Right" (Rated PG-13, Christine Everard) Christine Everard's Vanity Fair article. Just amazing work.

[livejournal.com profile] th_esaurus wrote "Magic Mirrors Never Lie" (Rated PG-13, Tony/himself)

[livejournal.com profile] trixie_chick wrote The Good Stuff (Rated PG-13, Pepper/Rhodey). Pepper and Rhodey commiserate over Tony's liquor. This is amazing and fun and reminds me again of all the reasons that Pepper Potts is made of win.

Crossovers:

Crossover: Iron Man/Doctor Who [livejournal.com profile] ariceli_maura wrote "The Complications of Mechanics" (PG, Tony/Pepper, Doctor/Rose)

Crossover: Iron Man/Doctor Who [livejournal.com profile] ariceli_maura wrote "We Lost Our Navigator Overboard" (Rated PG, Tony/Pepper, Doctor/Rose)

Crossover: Iron Man/Spider-Man [livejournal.com profile] basingstoke wrote "Paparazzo" (Rated NC-17, Tony Stark/Peter Parker) – I love this because Tony is both incredibly worldly and alone, and Peter understands so much about family

Crossover: Iron Man/Magnificent Seven/Highlander [livejournal.com profile] ithildyn wrote "Charitable Impulses" (Rated PG-13, Ezra Standish, Tony Stark, Charlotte Sparrow) – Brilliant banter between Ezra Standish and Tony Stark. She really nails those to characters. Highlander/Mag7/Ironman crossover but you don't need to watch those shows to enjoy it.

Crossover: Iron Man/X-Men [livejournal.com profile] likeadeuce wrote "Champagne Wishes" and "Arrangement" (Rated R, Tony Stark/Emma Frost) – comicsverse what-if, sprung from a throw-away line in Civil War, bittersweet and cynical

Crossover: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang/Iron Man [livejournal.com profile] mclittlebitch wrote "Well, You Walked into the Party" (Rated NC-17, Tony Stark/Harry Lockhart)

Crossover: Iron/Man/X-men/Batman [livejournal.com profile] mclittlebitch wrote Five Rumors About Tony Stark That Aren’t (Entirely) True (Rated PG, Past Tony Stark/Emma Frost; suggested Tony/Pepper, Tony/Rhodey, Tony/Bruce Wayne, Tony/robot) Seriously? This fic is hysterically funny! I can't recommend it highly enough. These headlines are too real to be fabricated... *shifty eyes*

Doctor Who/Torchwood/Iron Man: [livejournal.com profile] st_aurafina wrote Never Have I Ever. Rated PG, Gen.) Ianto, Donna and Pepper end up at a secretaries'/assistants' conference and have a conversation about their bosses (Comment: Everyone's favorite assistants dish the real truth! Aided by booze. Heee!)

Crossover: Iron Man/Batman [livejournal.com profile] thedevilchicken wrote "I Hate Everything About You" (Rated NC-17, Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne)
