Five Happy Things

1. Snow Day! I got to chill at home for a lot of Friday, although I did go into the office for a bit.

2. My "Be Aggressive" attitude worked pretty well and I got a ton of things crossed of my To Do list at work. I'm going to try and do it again this wek.

3. LUSH baths. I took one. I may take another. It was amazing.

4. I got all my laundry done, what? Whoot!

5. I got a random refund check from Comcast. Bwahahahaha! Guilt-free money!

Also, if anyone plays and is maybe interested in swapping some Dragon Eggs, I'd like to collect some of the ones that don't seem available anymore. Thoughts?

I'm about as happy as I've been in months. I spent the day doing fun things, including a massage, and the evening with friends. I've had more than a little bit to drink. Yuletide should be opening in about ten minutes, according to the mods. The Recathon is complete and I think it went pretty well.

May this be a sign of the awesome to come.

I have no idea how one goes awasselling, but it sounds like fun to me. I could use more fun, I think. Speaking of fun, two days left until the end of the Recathon and three days until Yuletide! Both of these events fill me with fannish glee. I'm excited about reading and plan to spend a large part of the last of the year doing just that.

Yuletide:

* My story is written and the betas have returned it to me. I posted in advance of the deadline, so I do need to make edits... but I'll consider it a victory at this point.

* I wrote a very random treat. It wasn't even the one I went looking for, but I kind of like it.

* Does anyone know if the pinch hits from this morning were claimed? I don't see an email one way or the other and that makes me fret. I want to be able to upload treats and I want to know that everyone will have a story. *fret*

* I definitely plan to write at least one more treat. Maybe two. Of course, if I run out of time, so be it. :)
