Today is the last day of voting and it's close.

My entry on the Open Topic, which I am affectionately calling my version of public therapy, "The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth" can be found here: here.

If you enjoyed it, then I ask you to take a moment and vote at the poll. You can find me [livejournal.com profile] bewize in the SECOND group.

If you enjoyed my post And All Will Turn to Silver Glass, where things aren't always what you think, I hope you'll take a few minutes to go to the poll and vote for me.

January has been announced as The Month of Doom and it's living up to the moniker. First, we lost six people. Then eight. Then ten. Last week, we lost 14, in a "gatekeeper round" where our entries were judged by a panel and not by vote. This week, it's a normal old vote, and the bottom five are leaving.

This is my post for this week's entry. And All Will Turn to Silver Glass. The title is taken from Annie Lenox's Into the West.

This is the 18th week.

Last week (17), there was no voting. It was, instead, a panel of judges who voted on 54 entries and narrowed it down to the Top 40. I am beyond stunned and just thrilled that I placed in the top five. If you want to read my entry, it's here: A Voice that Could Shatter Glass (and the Worst Superhero Name Ever).

Lastly, I must make a rec. Last Night on Earth by [livejournal.com profile] darkprism. This is a fictional short story, but dear God, it was incredible. Very powerful and very good, I highly recommend that people read it.

Anyway, marching forward! I will let people know if there is a vote this week. Thanks again to everyone who has supported me on this endeavor. :)

I am stunned that I made it this far, honestly. I'm excited to keep playing. It's getting interesting, people!

Yesterday's meeting did not go well. This saddens me. But I have hope that today's meeting will go better. Also, I have plans to storm my orignial alma mater as soon as I finish storming the law school one.

But before I go, several things of general interest:

OMG! PEOPLE WROTE THINGS FOR ME! *squeees*

First, I got a NYR Story from Yuletide. *bounces like a maniac*

Burn Notice. Michael/Fiona. HOT LIKE BURNING. And perfectly, utterly in character. Go read One For the History Books by [livejournal.com profile] abvj. Michael had always preferred the strong, independent types over the damsel in distress, anyway. It was less hassle.

And then, [livejournal.com profile] fryadvocate wrote me an untitled Hank drabble of win. See?

And if you're really bored, feel free to peruse my LJ Idol Entry - Bewize, An Artist's Life. I had an almost indecent amount of fun with this particular entry.
Hey all!

LJ Idol is moving again and I wanted to link both my entry (see title above) and the voting poll!

Entry: You can find my entry on being resolute here.

If you like it, I hope you'll take a few minutes to go to the poll and vote for me. The Voting Poll is open!

January has been announced ast The Month of Doom and to kick things off, the two lowest vote getters in each tribe will be eliminated. It's getting interesting, people!

I'm in the SECOND tribe now, if you need help finding me. The person with the fewest votes from each tribe will be eliminated.

I encourage you all to read some of the truly amazing entries from the other authors and vote for anyone that you liked. I promise some of the writing will blow your mind. I'm going to really work harder to put up a few recs every week now, just to make sure that I do my best to keep my favorites in it. 

The polls close on Monday at 1 EST.

Thanks in advance to everyone who votes for me. :)
Title: Pandora's Diary: A Semi-Fictional Tale
Fandom: Greek Mythology
Warnings: This may be triggering to some and mentions suicidal ideation. Please read with caution and take care of yourself.
Summary: Excerpts from Pandora's Diary
Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure I can claim this version of the tale as mine all mine. So yes, I do own it!
A/N: I wrote this for [livejournal.com profile] therealljidol Challenge 7: Hope. I'm participating in that contest with my other journal, but if you're interested please drop me a note and I'll fill you in. Still, since this is fiction, I wanted to share it here and have chosen to leave it un-flocked. If you enjoy the entry, you can cast your vote for me at Voting Poll in tribe four as [livejournal.com profile] bewize. I also encourage everyone to read through some of the other posts.

I'm going out of my mind with boredom. )

This entry was written in response to the [livejournal.com profile] therealljidol Challenge 7: Hope. There will be voting for this week's entries. I will make sure to link to the poll once it is put up and I would appreciate it if you would vote for me if you enjoy my entry. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated.
