Anime and Manga

I came into fandom two ways - X-men and Dragonball Z. Back in the days of Yahoo Groups, I spent more time in the anime/manga fandsom than in any others. For some reason, when I came to LJ, that wsn't the case. I think 95% of my fandom activity is now comics or live action fandoms.

That's well and good, but...

I miss the anime and manga fandoms!

So, I'm going to make an effort to seek out more friends from those fandoms and be more active it them.

Right now, I'm nearly finished watching Blood +. In short, it is amazing. ( No Real Spoilers )

So, has anyone else seen it? I have desperate need to discuss. Did I mention that it's also about some sort of vampire-things called Chiropterans???

Month in Review: January

So... this is a month in review post, I guess, just to see what I managed to do.

Potential Posts of Interest:

I recced Torchwood and Dragonball Z for crack_van.

I posted Chapter 8 of By Necessity and got that much closer to crossing something off the WiP Shaming List.

And I porn battled. :)

And Drabble Memed! (I'm not done with these yet, but I'm still working on them! Some of them, I'm actually quite proud of!)

My two goals at ficfinishing were to finish Chapter 8 of By Necessity, and a draft of comicsbigbang (2000/10,000) done. I did fairly well, I guess?

Also, the first Monthly Recs Post (Hurt/Comfort) went well enough. Maybe February will bring a few more people in. :)
