I'm going to make five more recs in random fandoms that I am not active in. These fics are all ones that I read by accident, but really and truly enjoyed. I hope you do, too.

And these will be 5-10 of the 30 I hope to rec this month. :)

Ender's Game

[livejournal.com profile] arislanchan wrote Affection. G.

This is a beautiful little piece that shows an introspective Ender, who considers the people in his life that he loved, and the ones that loved him.

Lord of the Rings

[livejournal.com profile] stephantom wrote Elf of the Cave, Elf of the Spray. PG.

Elrond Half-Elven made one choice when it came to being an immortal. His twin brother made another. This is a beautiful, and heartbreaking, look at the consequences.

Narnia

[livejournal.com profile] sparkfrost wrote The Fall of the Gentle. PG-13.

Susan the Gentle, her story of returning to England, growing up, losing her family, and her ultimate fate. Aslan did not limit her by her name, but gave her a strength that took her through all life's travails.

The Rundown

[livejournal.com profile] strifechaos wrote Transitionaly. PG-13.

There isn't enough Rundown fic in the world. This is a funny little fic that picks up exactly where the movie ends and explores just a bit of what possessed Beck to help Travis out in the end.

Casino Royale

[livejournal.com profile] nextian wrote Operating Instructions. R.

James Bond at his worst. And also at his finest. This is a great case-fic and digs far enough into Bond's head that a wary reader wants to back up just a little bit.
