The thought of Scott/Bobby is... beyond me. Although, I shall now contemplate that.

But in the meantime:

"You're kidding, right?" Scott eyed the disgusting concoction of... "Are those gummy worms?" He leaned closer. "And jelly?"

"Yep." Bobby went about slathering a piece of bread with mayonaise and Scott couldn't take it anymore. He caught Bobby's hand. "Dude, what are you doing?"

"Saving you from heartburn and clogged arteries." Scott answered digustedly. He grabbed the paper plate away from Bobby and dumped it in the trash.

"Hey! I was going to eat that!"

"You can thank me later." Scott retorted, opening the cupboard and rummaging around until he found a jar of peanut butter. He went to the fridge and pulled out a few apples, tossing one to Bobby as he walked over to grab a knife. "This. This is a healthy snack. It will give you energy and keep you awake in the Danger Room."

Bobby eyed the snack doubtfully. "This is boring." He watched as Scott carefully cut his own apple into slices, frowning hard enough that Scott finally caved.

"What's wrong?"

"I want mine peeled." Bobby whined, a teasing glint in his eye. "And since you threw away my sandwich..."

"Oh, for God's sake." Scott snatched the apple away from Bobby and began peeling it. When he noticed Bobby still frowning he set down the knife in exasperation. "What now?"

"My mom can do it in one strip."

"I'm not your mom!" Scott snapped and Bobby burst into laughter.

"That's sort of my point."

"Next time, I'll let you eat that crap instead." Scott threw the half peeled apple at Bobby, who caught it with one hand and took a bite.

"We'll both be happy then." Bobby spoke with his mouth full, and Scott had to resist the urge to tell him not to, which he suspected was Bobby's intent.

Scott rolled his eyes behind his glasses, and hid a grin. He might not be Bobby's mom, but more often than not he felt like he had a younger pain in the neck brother.
