Title: Keeping Score
Author:
wizefics
Characters/Pairing: Two familiar friends
Rating: All Audiences
Warnings: none
Book/Source: Definitely movieverse
Disclaimer: Not mine, but Tolkien wanted to build a mythology and I think that gives me the right to play in this sandbox. And PJ gets the kudos for this lovely scene!
A/N: It's a shock, I know. But I've ventured into new characters. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. Written for the weekly drabble challenge at
tolkien_weekly - "Bounty"
"T'is hardly fair for you to have a head start…"
"How do you claim that?" Came the slightly huffy reply.
"You don't see me fightin' from a safe distance."
"I can barely see you at all…"
"Is that a crack against me stature? Show more respect for my skills, princeling! I'm currently ahead of ye."
As the rain began falling and the thunderous stomping of the gathered Uruk trailed off into an eerie silence, the golden haired elf calmly strung his bow.
"That is about to change, friend. By the time this night ends, I will have taken the lead."
