Bobby Drake in Recent Comics

This is my random reaction post, belated, of course, to X-men: The List and The Agents of Atlas two-part crossover.
Oh, how I love that he's a somewhat regularly featured character again. ♥
Now, onto serious stuff -
I really enjoyed the whole Agents of Atlas story, mostly because it sort of put the original X-men back together. (Is it wrong that a dream of mine is for there to be arc where the four (or five, if they can make it work) of them are back together for something? I would love this. A lot.) But the whole thing was pretty cool in my book.
I'm unfamiliar with the Agents of Atlas, but when Jimmy Woo (whom I really liked!) told Bobby to throw up an ice wall to save the X-men, I got all excited. I love that Bobby took on a dragon and pretty much did okay for himself. I thought the art was fantastic - the scene of him melting as he was beaten down was potent in my world.
I also loved Bobby's initial confusion to Woo - "Don't you work for the other side?" I would really love to see some follow up to that scene between those characters. I think that they might be interesting friends.
I also found it interesting that Bobby is able to - at least temporarily - confine Namora (and apparently Namor). I maintain that Bobby is far more dangerous than he is ever shown to be, so I think these hints of what he might be capable of if he just unleashed without regard for the consequences are interesting.
And speaking of Namor - I loved him in the Agents of Atlas crossover. I'm quickly becoming a BIG fan of Namor.
The X-men: The List ws fantastic. Again, Bobby got to show off his powers a bit, with some help from Psylocke, but the best part to me was Namor.
"Frozen one! Do this!"
Bobby: Frozen one?
Teehee.
And on that hysterical note, I'm off to meet up with flist buddies for a beer! Cheers!
