I was under the impression that the curse broke...partly through time, that it was time to let go. That people were, emotionally, going away from one another and that was what broke it. I could be wrong though....
I am interested to see what you think of the last volume too. I felt like the dealt very realistically with Akito in both this (well, all) volume and the next one, as seen from the different people affected.
