A few notes:

The reason reason to read this is the pitch-perfect and HILARIOUS Seth POV and everyone else's reaction to his secret friends-with-benefits thing with Sark.

AVENGERS

ozmissage wrote There's No Shame in Pulling a Mosby [ PG13 | Being Human, How I Met Your Mother | Annie, Marshall, Lily, Ted, Mitchell; Mitchell/Annie and Marshall/Lily ] Why it is so awesome: So cute! The characterization is PERFECT, and the crossover works perfectly, because of course Marshall would be thrilled to find out ghosts, werewolves and vampires do exist. You really feel as though Annie and Lily are meant to be best friends. The Mitchell/Annie is quite believably done, too. Through season 1 of Being Human, and just general knowledge of HIMYM.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER & ANGEL

Mariner wrote The End of the Beginning [ T |BtVS/Harry Potter |Ruper Giles, Ethan Rayne; James & Lily Potter, Sirius Black, other HP-verse characters ] Why it is so awesome: Because it's a marvelous dovetailing of the Jossverse and of the HP-verse as its canon stood at the time of writing (2003);also, because it is long and plotty with good writing and good characterization, not to mention some nice blink-and-you'll-miss-it foreshadowing of Jossverse events.

sevangel wrote Our Mrs Cobb (Scroll page for chapter links) [ PG13 | Firefly/BtVS | River/Jayne,Mal/Willow/Inara, rest of crew ] Why it is so awesome: Long story with River getting what she wants and getting help with her powers.

lefaym wrote The Making of a Rogue Demon Hunter [ R |Buffy & Angel/ Torchwood | Wesley Wyndam-Pryce/Jack Harkness ] Why it is so awesome: These two verses aren't instinctively compatible. You really have to make it work, and this fic makes it work. Not only that, but Jack is perfect and Wes is spot on. You can really see the steps in between his last appearance on Buffy and coming onto Angel wearing leather trousers. Plus a good healthy dose of Wes's daddy issues without going overboard.

litmouse wrote Father Goose & the Black Knight [ FR18 | Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Law & Order: SVU | Faith/Xander ] Why it is so awesome: It's set 3 years post-Chosen, and the entire Buffyverse is finding it's footing. Xander is heading up the council's school in Cleveland and Faith is searching for a place. The characterization is great, and I love the idea. Let's just ignore the absurdity of the entire SVU office going to Cleveland as part of an exchange program.

Eponine wrote Enigmatic Absurdities [ PG13 |BtVS & Angel/House | Angel, House and the ducklings, Xander, Faith, Andrew ] Why it is so awesome: Angel gets hit by a car on a rainy night and is taken to Princeton-Plainsboro, where House gets his mitts on him. Everyone is hysterically in character, particularly Xander and a very pissy!Angel. This is crossover humor of the highest order.

[ R | BtVS/Firefly | Tara/Kaylee ] Why it so awesome: Because River didn't just quit being a Reader at the end of the movie, and everyone keeps thinking of Mal with his clothes off. *grin* So they decide to get River some real help with what she can do. And that real help is Tara, which is just one of the spiffiest ideas ever come up with.

SariLane wrote [ FR18 | NCIS/BtVS & Angel |Gen (with a hint of pre-slash), Xander, Faith, Dawn, Oz, Gibbs, Tony, McGee, Abby, Ducky ] Why it so awesome: Great character line up, great charactisations and wonderful interaction between the two teams.

FaithWinchester wrote Daughter of Anarchy [FR15 |Buffy / Supernatural / Sons of Anarchy | Dean/Faith ] Why it so awesome: It blends the three fandoms very smoothly with great interactions between the characters. Also has great charactisations of Faith and Dawn striking out on their own without the council.

[ G |Doctor Who/Sesame Street | Grover, Ten ] Why it is so awesome: It is *Grover* and *the Doctor* how could it be anything BUT awesome? This super short, picture heavy story will leave you smiling, I guarantee it.

ozmissage wrote Turn Your Scars Into Stars [ PG13| Doctor Who/Lost | Sawyer, Donna, Ten; with Sawyer/Juliet ] Why it is so awesome: Because Donna and Sawyer need to be BFFs. Because everyone is perfectly in character. Because the white light and "whoosh" sound of time travel is the same in both fandoms. Because the Doctor helps Sawyer deal with his grief. It's beautiful and hilarious and touching all at the same time.

foxfic wrote The browncoat Store [ PG13 | Firefly/Torchwood | Mal, Zoe, Cap'n Jack Harkness, Mal/Jack implied ] Why it is so awesome: It's pretty cracky, and I guess they both need to get their brown coats somewhere.

leiascully wrote A gentleman (and a thief) [ G | Firefly/House | Lisa Cuddy/Malcolm Reynolds (hints), Kaylee/Simon (mentioned)] Why it is so awesome: Serenity makes a pitstop at Prinston-Plainsboro so Mal can get a bullet wound stitched up. What is not awesome about that?

roga wrote What Kind of Week Has It Been [ PG13 | Firefly/House| Chase and the gang on Serenity; also House and the other ducklings ] Why it is so awesome: Chase gets abducted by space cowboys! Okay - first, they hit him over the head with Serenity's door, then they abduct him. But they bring him back! So cracky, so very fun.

Rhi wrote Constants [ PG | Highlander/Firefly | Amanda ] Why it so awesome: Because she's Immortal and wily and skilled... why wouldn't Amanda make it out into the black? And where else would she end up but training Companions?

iphignia939 wrote The sound of one hand clapping. [ PG |Firefly/Stargate SG-1 |Wash, Daniel Jackson, Oma Desala, the Serenity crew ] Why it so awesome: The BDM did not have a happy ending. This fic fixes that in a crossover of awesome, where Wash Ascends instead, and has to deal with Daniel and Oma and the other Ascended. There just isn't enough squee in the world to cover it.

sidura wrote Dog Diner afternoon(lINK TO 1st Chapter) [ G | Supernatural/Gilmore Girls| Rory, Lorelai, Luke, Emily, Jess, Dean Forester, Dean & Sam Winchester, Ruby ] Why it so awesome: Exposing the inhabitants of Stars Hollow to demon hunting brothers, one of whom looks exactly like Dean Forester and there's bound to be chaos. In this case the results are highly entertaining. Everyone is in character and the snark factor is off the charts.

GLEE

[ PG | Glee/Gossip Girl/ Heroes | Rachel, Blair, HRG, Peter, Sylar, Eden, Mohinder, Chuck Bass, Finn, Angela, Claire ] Why it is so awesome: Because it is utterly delightful in every way---funny, action-packed, snarky, sweet in a perfect balance. Blair and Rachel make the greatest best friends, and their experience in the Heroes world couldn't be more fun. It only goes through season 1 of Heroes, and even though I've only seen one episode each of Glee and Gossip Girl, I was able to enjoy this immensely. The Rachel/Sylar showdown is a thing of beauty and Blair's one-liners are amazing throughout.

GOSSIP GIRL

pandarus wrote The Case of the Unwelcome Owl [ PG | Sherlock/Harry Potter | Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, Luna Lovegood] Why it is so awesome: Because the concept just makes so much sense that once you've read it, you'll be amazed at the fact that you didn't think of it. It also helps that it's wonderfully written, and the characterisation is spot-on. (And that I'm a sucker for anything with Luna in)

We've got bad guys from both sides, magic linked to ascension, the interesting consequences of a werewolf in space, and the best use of parseltongue in any crossover ever. Plus there's Ba'al and Ba'al always improves any story that he's a part of.

HEROES

futuresoon wrote This Is Getting To Be A Habit, or Why It Isn't A Good Idea To Get Stabbed In The Head. [ PG13 |Heroes/House | Nathan/Peter (implied!), House, the ducklings, Mohinder ] Why it is so awesome: So there are House and Wilson, blowing off a conference in NYC when all of a sudden, a man falls from the sky practically in their laps. Peter's abilities are going haywire on him, and he starts suffering seizures and coma, and Nathan is frantic. Luckily, House and the gang are there to poke, prod, make ridiculous diagnoses and cause pain. It's not quite as humorous as all that, but there is still significant amounts of fun alongside the angst. Also, fair warning - Nathan/Peter = incest for those not in the know, though it's really only a baby step up from what we saw in s1 of Heroes.

HIGHLANDER

IRON MAN

Betty & Emeraldwoman wrote Nerds of the Earth, take note! [ G | Leverage/Iron Man| Tony Stark, Alec Hardison ] Why it is so awesome: Hardison tries really, really hard to stay out of the way of really, really scary people, but SHIELD is making that complicated. Hardison teaches Tony Stark how to run a con on his own AI. Brilliant, fast-paced and witty fic that captures all the fun of both fandoms.

eighth_horizon wrote Atonement [ R|Iron Man movie-verse/Avengers/Supernatural | Steve/Tony ] Why it is so awesome: It takes the Supernatural Universe circa Season 4ish, and drops the Avengers (and most specifically Iron Man) into the fight. It's canon-compliant with the first Iron Man movie, and an interesting mish-mash of the different eras of Avengers. I love the characterization in this. Tony Stark is priceless when he has to deal with things like angels.

LAW AND ORDER: SVU

The characterization is lovely, and I adore their relationship which is something good even if it's not really what either of them needs.
