I'm only really familiar with the first three on your list-but they struck me as the innocent. Often times the unknowledgable stand-in for the audience.
Of the 3 Annie's the nicest "monster" on Being Human, Bobby is often depicted as "the kid" of the group and Gwen was most definitly there to help the audience figure out what was going on.
