So, a friend of mine and I have decided to invest in a small wager regarding weight loss goals.

The challenge!

Lose 20 lbs by February 10, 2012.

The means!

Really, however you want. I'm doing boot camp and the food fight that goes along with boot camp, which basically is paleo/whole foods/sugar detox.

The prize upon winning!

Smaller ass. *lol*

The forfeit upon losing!

Well now. Isn't this where it gets interesting? Since I refused to allow money or food to be the basis of the wager, we had to get creative and go with a little old fashioned public humiliation. And what better way to publicly humiliate yourself in a socially accepted fashion than to sing karaoke.

Bwahahaha.

If I lose, I'll even take video and share - with anyone else who jumps on board the challenge. :D

(If you lose, I expect to either be there when you sing, or get video. :)

oooh, Paleo!!!

Are you doing Crossfit?

I did Crossfit, got burned out, did Paleo, got burned out, am back on Paleo starting January 1st. Paleo is not fun the first week or so, but after that, it's MUCH easier!! Also, I do eat Larabars, because damn if those bars haven't saved me multiple times when I am starving and just have donuts, cookies, and other craps all around me at work.

Anyway, good luck, from a fellow commiserator.

I'm doing FitWit, but I've heard about Crossfit. *lol* I think it's too hard core for me, which is saying something, since FitWit ain't easy!

Somewhere in the last year, I kind of turned into a health conscious person...

I'm halfway through my first week of Paleo - and other than the OMG!SUGAR cravings, I'm doing okay. The scale movement is keeping me focused - and it helps that I was able to eat half a chicken last night. *LOL* No other diet lets me eat that much.

Ah yes, the sugar cravings. They are awful, but I promise you, after day 6 or so, it dissipates. In fact, eating cake or a cookie after 30 days of Paleo was like "whoa, glucose spike, headache imminent!"

What I ended up missing the most was rice. Oh, and corn bread.

I haven't heard of FitWit. I will check it out. You're definitely right about Crossfit: Hardcore isn't the half of it.

I'm not sure where you live... but here's the link: http://fitwit.com/

I love it. It's the perfect combination of "DO IT!" "DO IT RIGHT!" and "YOU CAN DO IT!!"

LOL.
