Challenge: Inspired by the Ancient History Challenge at X-Men Flashfic, but not long enough to post there. I may work on lengthening this a bit, because I rather like the premise. And it has the angst potential necessary to keep me intrigued.
Frozen in Ice for Five Thousand Years!
Bobby eyed the mummy in the display case. Head tilting slightly, Bobby’s eyes narrow as he searched the mummy’s face. What was he thinking when he died? How did he die? There are no clues that the teen can detect and the pinups around the display are silent.
Bobby’s worst nightmare is waking up in solid ice and being unable to escape. A strange kinship exists between him and this ancient man. He may be the only person alive who know what it feels like to have life suddenly end surrounded by ice.
