So, not a Ficathon, but a Recathon?

ficwizeI was just curious about something.
I (obviously) have a deep and abiding love for reccing fics to you guys. I don't know if you read them, like them or care, but I get a lot of pleasure out of doing it, because every once in a while, someone leaves a comment about how much they liked something I recced and how they wouldn't have found it otherwise.
One of the best things about a ficathon, again in my opinion, is the glut of fic that comes from it. Lots and lots to read, most of it good, some of it outstanding, and a few pieces that literally take your breath away.
I don't have time to write more fic than I'm alreadyfailing to attempting to write, but I was wondering if anyone else might be interested in doing some sort of Holiday Recathon.
Let me explain, I was thinking of doing an informal poll and picking the top twelve fandoms that people read/write and then opening them up for lots and lots of reccing to take place between now and the opening of the recathon. Then, on the days agreed upon, I could reveal a master list of fics/arts/vids/anything else that people recced.
So, no work to be done other than telling me what your favorites are. I'd compile and post and we'd all get a little extra cheer and pick me up from reading fics in our favorite fandoms.
I have a vague idea of how it would work, technically, but I don't know if anyone else has interest. So, if you do have interest, could you let me know?
Also, feel free to pass this on to people and help me decide if there would be enough interest to make this something worth doing.
Finally, tell me what fandoms you'd like to see if I go through with this. For the sake of my sanity, be specific so no DCU or Marvel, but "Batman" and "X-men" are okay (you don't have to break it down to specific title).
I'm not locking this post, either, because I'd really like to know if people are interested.

Out of curiosity, what fandoms would you like to see?
And since I know you're a crossover fan, I was going to allow and encourage crossovers, as long as one of the fandoms was one of the fandoms chosen.

I don't think I have time to do much in the way of advertising, so I count on a flist word of mouth sort of thing. Although I'll pimp the lists in appropriate communities when they're done.
