Hi guys!

Some of you volunteered to help organize fics, and I was just wondering if you were still available. If you can comment here and let me know which fandom(s) you'd be interested in helping with, I'll start forwarding some of the fic recs to you.

ETA: SPN and T:SCC have been "claimed."

I want to have the master pages set up so that all the fics are coded the same. If there is a fandom you'd want to organize for me, I'll email you the recs and you can code them into a word document (or something similar) and send it back to me for posting on The Day (which hasn't been determined yet).

Basically, I want the recs to look like this:

Author wrote Title of Fic. (Rating) (Pairing). - Any comments left by the reccer.

Author should be an LJ name where we have one, and the Title of the Fic should be a link to the fic itself. Kind of like we do in crossover_news only with the reccer's comments.

If you're speaking of Blood Noir, which I was, then it was... okay.

I'm a bit over the "all sex, all the time" plot device. But, once I waded through a few hundred pages of that... lo... there was character development. I almost feel cheated, because I had just decided it was going to be another giant orgy.

Heh. I miss the ole days, when there were mysteries. But I'm too hooked to stop now!

Oh - hrm. I must be thinking of another vamp series that just had a book out - I read Blood Noir this summer I think? Was rather unimpressed - I think she needs to kill the series personally. But I suppose why mess with a good thing? The books sell, after all. ;)

Do you read any other urban fantasies? I've been on a tear of those lately for whatever reason. mmmmmbrain candy. But I'm all for discovering new authors ...

Sorry to go MIA! I love urban fantasies, but I'm sorry to say I haven't been reading much of anything (other than fanfic) lately. Work has demanded too much of my time. Boo.
