Michael avoided the cemetery as a general rule. It was a reminder of too much of his past, but it made an excellent meeting place for his business. After his client left, he stared down at the gravestone bearing his father's name.
A cool breeze swept over him and he resisted the urge to shiver. He saw Fiona approaching before she slid her fingers into his. Unable to resist the urge to touch the scar on his face – the last gift he'd ever gotten from his drunkard father – he turned and pulled Fiona into his arms. Neither of them spoke.
