Hidden from their pursuer, Elrohir signaled for Elladan to stay low and stood, peering over the rocks, tensed to run.
Hearing only birds, he nodded tensely to El. Creeping forward, they were unprepared to hear a voice. "Stay where you are!"
"Run, Roh!" El yelped, feeling his ear seized, but Roh froze.
"I won't leave you!"
"A wise choice," Erestor frowned at them. "And I assure you that you are in enough trouble. You were supposed to be in lessons two hours ago."
Taking Roh's ear, he dragged them towards the certain doom of a wasted afternoon in the classroom.
