Eh, I don't feel like paring it down to ten, so I'll leave it open to anything you guys want. If the pairing or character is in my tags, I'm fine with writing it. :)

1. Scott is not a morning person. The worst fight they had in the first year they dated resulted from Jean waking him up before the alarm went off. Lesson learned. She'll let him oversleep now rather than risk his wrath.

2. Scott buys Jean plastic jewelry from those little quarter machines at the grocery store. The first time it was a joke, but it made her smile in a genuine and soft way, so now he does it often. He doesn't know that she keeps it all in her bedside drawer.

3. Scott wouldn't tell Jean when his birthday was. It became a matter of honor and she used all of her detective skills (but none of her psychic skills) to find out. Then she bought him a model air plane. He pretended to be annoyed, but she saw the model in his closet once. He had put it together and there was dirt on the wing tips.

4. Even after they became allies, Jean couldn't shake her discomfort around the Iceman. He scared her just a little bit. Scott knew it and made sure that he put himself between them whenever they were in the room. She would never admit it, but she was grateful.

5. When Scott had a really rough day at work, or Jean had a case that she couldn't solve, they could almost always count on the other to order the appropriate junk food. Scott liked Chinese food. Chicken Lo Mein, with extra water chestnuts. Jean preferred pizza. Pepperoni, lots of it.

I really like that verse too. I had a blast writing in it and I would love the chance to revisit it someday. I just need another plot bunny...
