Tin Man = Awesome (and some Recs)

I've finished watching Tin Man and oh... oh oh oh. So good! I'm all atwitter. *lol*

Mostly because I'm in lust love with Cain. Whose *ahem* better attributes are featured in my icon.

And that's totally not true. I can't explain how much I love Cain... I just don't think its possible. He reminds me of Mal from Firefly (and when I saw an icon of his backside with the words 'Captain Tightpants,' I both cheered and snorted water almost out my nose). The story is awesome and complicated and well done enough that I can over look the few flaws I found (rather flat acting in a few places... shhh!).

Anyway, the wonderful thing about the internet is that other people always like the things I like. So I went looking (and in the case of mhalachaiswords, I didn't have to look far as she was on my flist! Wheee!) and found some fic and some communities! So I thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested.

Fic Recs:

To Sleep, Perchance by mhalachaiswords - A beautiful look at what life after the battle must have been like for one very misunderstood princess. This is an Az focused piece, with mentions of Cain and DG. It is beautiful and well done.

Turn to Gray by lizzelda is a DG/Cain piece that picks up immediately following the miniseries. This fic was really well done, in my opinion, because it acknowledges that life existed before the miniseries and that all the complications and problems that exited before still exist. Gorgeous characterizations.

For more fic needs, I've found tinman_fic. I'm sure there are others, but this one seems to be big and well attended. Also check out the_o_z
