I don't even know. I don't even know!!!

I feel like I must have been a very very good girl this year, because somehow, somehow, I got FOUR YULETIDE STORIES!!!!

Not only that, but they were all beyond excellent!

Allow me to show you!

First, I got Payback McManus Style - a Boondock Saints fic that is just made of win!! It's Il Duce fic! *squees* But even more than that, it's MacManus fic! It's got the whole family and it's so good and shiny and awesome! I don't want to say too much to spoil it, but if you like Ma MacManus (deleted scenes, hardcore, people, hardcore!), then you will get a huge kick out of this fic!


Welcome to the Madhouse is such perfectly in character Lester from Primeval that I laughed out loud in delight! Lester is all snarky, but insightful, win. The turn of phrase, the witty sarcasm, is just utterly in character. I am so happy about Lester right now. The world needs more of him!


And for the icing on the cake, I got two fics from The Rundown - which if you don't know is a movie with The Rock and Sean William Scott and is one of the funniest films I've ever seen. Additionally, it's insanely slashy, even if you don't normally wear slash goggles.

Both of these fics are ho-ot and both are so very funny and so amazingly in character that it was astonishing to read!

Very Good Things. Just when Beck thinks he has Travis right where he wants him... things get suddenly interesting. Of course, this is Travis, so who really knows when he is or isn't getting just what he wants!


Skip-Outs and Hideouts. Ummm, guh! Also, plot and escapes and knife fights and Beck being manipulated by Travis and Travis having guilt and Travis having frustration that he can't get what he wants and and and... just go read it already.


Like I said - I don't even know. I'm just too damn lucky at the moment. *happy sigh*

Lastly, I wrote four stories for Yuletide. If you can guess 3/4, I'll write you a drabble. :) (This is because I discussed fandoms pretty openly, so you are at an advantage. I won't confirm or deny until Jan. 1, though!)

I'll be reading most of tomorrow and making recs. I haven't had time to do anything today but marvel and my own wealth of ficcy goodness and family stuff.

Supernatural/DCU: dotfic wrote Then You'd Better Not Stay. PG-13. Dean Winchester/Wonder Woman. He's a hunter. She's an Amazon princess. Together, they slay dragons! (Comment: Awesome fic, awesome premise, awesome pairing. What's not to love here?)

Supernatural/Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: chaletian wrote Judgement Day. Gen. Dean and Sam didn't expect the apocalypse. (Comment: Short, sweet and to the point, this fusion is fantastic!)

Firefly/Terminator movies: trollprincess wrote Our Passenger. R. A mysterious dangerous woman boards Serenity.(Comment: I was skeptical of the premise until I started reading. I'm so glad I started reading. This was fantastic.)

Harry Potter/X-men Movierverse: penknife wrote Stutter. Gen, Lily & Sirius, Charles/Erik (implied). It's a rough flight. (Comment: I love this fic more than I can coherently put into words, more for what isn't said than for what is. It's a brilliant crossover that puts these two worlds together in a way that will leave you wishing for more.)

Harry Potter/Doctor Who: fly_to_dawn wrote Redheads and Dragon’s Eggs. PG. Now that’s a real mystery,’ she said, ‘it must have been four or five years ago - a stranger left it to my mum, as a gift for me to keep. (Comment: Donna! Charlie! Dragons! Win!)

Harry Potter/Doctor Who: st_aurafina wrote You Can Never Go Home Again. PG. On the other side of the Veil, Sirius can't help his friends, but he can help someone else's. (Comment: I want this to be canon for both fandoms, please. Please? I'll beg.)

Doctor Who/Torchwood/Iron Man: st_aurafina wrote Never Have I Ever. PG. Ianto, Donna and Pepper end up at a secretaries'/assistants' conference and have a conversation about their bosses (Comment: Everyone's favorite assistants dish the real truth! Aided by booze. Heee!)

Bandom (My Chemical Romance and Cobra Starship)/Shaun of the Dead: akire_yta wrote With Just A Touch of My Burning Hand. G. This is sort of an obscure cross-over with the film 'Shaun of the Dead,' and is based off a passing comment in one of the closing scenes. Multimedia. (Comment: Just go and check this out. It's too funny to miss!)

Primeval/Jurassic Park III: cordeliadelayne wrote Visitors. PG. When a T.Rex goes on a rampage in the ARC, who better to help, than two people who have survived a dinosaur infested island? (Comment: This fic has dinosaurs. And it's also made of awesome. Go and see for yourself!)
